Design Wall May 21, 2012

I finished my 30 blocks Friday, cut my sashing strips and today I was able to get four rows sewn together.

I I'm hoping I can find some time after work this week to keep sewing on it.  It's pretty hard working 9 hr days and my commute is 1 and 1 1/2 each day.  Doesn't leave a lot of time for anything except fixing dinner and bed.

  1. Looks great. I used to have to commute like that and I am so glad I don't anymore. It really doesn't leave you much time to yourself. Enjoy and I hope you can sqeeze in a bit of sewing.

  2. What a long day! I'm impressed you take the time to cook dinner. Many I know get take-out that takes a lot of the nutrition out of the equation! Happy quilting!

    1. I try to cook big on the weekends and then we eat leftovers. It also helps when I remember to take dinner out of the freezer. Sometimes it's just breakfast for dinner (a favorite anytime).
